In 2020, the Louisville Public Library launched a new initiative to encourage the newest readers in our community. The program provides parents of new babies born in Louisville with information about library services and story times, as well as a coupon for a new board book, to be redeemed at the library. 

The library is also home to a new Read, Baby, Read play zone in the Children’s area.
