Louisville Public Library Foundation

Our mission is to enrich our community by building support and raising money to enhance the Library’s programs and services

The Louisville Public Library Foundation (LPLF) is a community-based 501(c)(3) non-profit. Each year the LPLF raises money to support the library's collections and high-impact programming available for all ages in the Louisville and Superior communities.

Our generous donors provide support for much of the programming and collection expansion, and all those things that are above and beyond what public funding provides.
Your tax-deductible contribution helps us to provide the following to our community:

“I like being in the library, surrounded by books, but I’m amazed by all the other things the library is doing. It’s becoming a place for the community to gather.”

“For a city this size, we have an amazing library. There is always so much going on, of wide interest.”

“We love the library and the summer reading program is a great incentive to keep my daughter reading in the summer.”

“We have so enjoyed Storytime for the past two years and have made great friends and playmates there as well. You are the unsung heroes of the Louisville baby/ toddler/ pre-K crowd!”
